The Firm of Khisa & Company Advocates LLP (“the Law Firm”) is a modern, progressive and dynamic Law Firm offering legal services in diverse areas of law, public policy, and cooperate governance. The Firm’s head office is located at Bruce House, 10th Floor, Suite 1022, NAIROBI, and the branch office is at Chemu House, Moi Avenue Street, WEBUYE. There are ongoing plans to set up another branch at Nakuru

Our Team
He graduated from Moi University in the year 2015 having attained a Bachelor of Laws Degree (LL.B) – 2nd Class Honours (Upper Division). Attained a Post Graduate Diploma in Law from Kenya School of Law in the year 2016; and was admitted as an advocate of the High Court of Kenya on 27th March, 2018. Seth Khisa is a Commissioner of Oaths and a Notary Public.
He started his legal career at the firm of Kinyanjui Njuguna & Co. Advocates immediately after his admission to the bar and he was previously a pupil then in holding-over position at the same firm from January, 2017. At the firm of Kinyanjui Njuguna & Co. Advocates he rose to the position of a senior associate supervising the litigation department where he dealt with diverse matters for a rich clientele that included numerous Insurance Companies, County Governments, banks, schools, private companies and natural persons.
Seth Khisa has extensive experience in all kinds of litigations and has argued cases from tribunals, magistrate’s courts, the high courts, the court of appeal and the supreme court in the Republic of Kenya. He is a seasoned litigator and has successfully litigated in some landmark cases that have created rich jurisprudence with numerous precedents available at the Kenya Law Reports such as:
- Invesco Assurance Company Limited & 2 others v Auctioneers Licensing Board& another; Kinyanjui Njuguna & Company Advocates & another (Interested Parties) [2021] eKLR.
- Court of Appeal Civil Appeal No. 218 of 2017 Christopher Kioi & another v Winnie Mukolwe & 4 others [2018] eKLR.
- Kenya Orient Insurance Co. Ltd v Margaret Wambui Njenga & another [2021]

Wanjala Alvin Mukonyi
Partner
Holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree from the University of Nairobi (LL. B) and he holds a Post Graduate Diploma from Kenya School of Law. He was admitted to the Bar in the year 2017. He is currently pursuing Masters of Law in Law, Government and Democracy. Wanjala Alvin is a Commissioner of Oaths and a Notary Public.
He has a vast litigation experience in Civil, Criminal and Commercial Litigation and also employment related matters among others. He has represented various companies and counties in diverse landmark cases in his 6 years of practice. He is in charge of recovery and debt collection division at the firm.

Don Otury
Partner
Mr. Otury is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya. He is an Astute Researcher and avid writer on Comparative Constitutional and International Law. Mr. Otury holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree with Honors from the University of Nairobi, a Post Graduate Diploma in Law from Kenya School of Law (KSL). Don Otury is a Commissioner of Oaths and a Notary Public.
He was admitted to the Bar in the year 2016. He has extensive experience in litigation, having prosecuted and defended claims from the magistrate’s courts, high court and the court of appeal in the Republic of Kenya. He has previously worked as an associate at the firm of Kinyanjui Njuguna & Company Advocates and also as a legal researcher at the Milimani High Court Civil Division. He is in charge of the mediation and ADR division at the firm.
